What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Desk Analyst position at Ventures Unlimited Inc?
Job Title: Service Desk
Location: Columbus, OH - Hybrid work schedule;; onsite every 3rd day at 1970 West Broad Street, Columbus.
Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible)
Visa: USC / Green Card Only
Interview: Intro 15-minute Teams interviews with full interviews onsite.
Description:
1. Process all equipment coming into or leaving IT
2. Update Asset Inventory System
3. Process Salvage equipment (removing the hard drives, doing entire process)
4. Unpacking and packing boxes for equipment and preparing it for shipment to ACF or other DPS sites
5. Pickup and Deliver equipment from DIS/Excel/DTS/ETC
6. Complete any Service Now tickets on equipment requests (ie monitors, keyboards, mice, HDMI cables, etc)
7. Reconcile all Inventory sheets (paper/electronic) on daily basis
8. Validate all the IT Operations Room equipment weekly to ensure inventory is up to date and correct
9. Serves as backup contact for level 1 support
