C Software Engineer – HFT (High Frequency) – Chicago
A leading global Systematic Trading House is looking to add a Senior C Software Engineer to directly support for Trading Teams. The group is comprised of Software Engineers & Researchers who are responsible for designing, improving and eventually execute automated trading strategies.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will be required to both advise and support more junior team members as well as lead complex technical projects autonomously. Some of the responsibilities will include:
- Building & maintaining end-to-end high frequency trading infrastructure
- Provide a deep understanding and knowledge of Trading & Exchanges
- Work closely with Trading & Research teams to impact revenue generation
- Responsible for business critical code changes to the production
Ideal Candidates will have:
- 5 years of C experience in a low-latency systems environment, ideally from a Trading background.
- Deep understanding of computer science fundamental concepts
- Experience with Python OR Linux
- Proven problem solving ability
- Fluent English
Salary : $250,000 - $500,000
