JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Digital Content Specialist
LOCATION: Remote
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
Reports To: Senior Marketing Manager
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION: Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for recommending, developing, tracking, and optimizing social media, digital assets and marketing content across all digital platforms. Your duties will range from copy/content development, graphics development, web design, email, SMS and creating/managing inbound/outbound lead generation initiatives to measuring performance and reporting results. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and drive engagement across various channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive social media strategy to promote Venture products, services, and events.
· Create and manage content calendars that align with marketing campaigns and sales goals.
· Design, write, and schedule engaging posts for platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and others, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
· Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and complies with healthcare industry regulations.
- Develop content for marketing tactics. Leverage social media (organic) to generate brand awareness and acquire new customer leads through engaging and relevant content.
- Use paid social media strategies (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) to further build customer leads.
- Recommend/develop lead generation plans/strategies.
- Produce strong content to effectively initiate interaction and nurture leads through the marketing funnel resulting in a loyal customer.
- Design multiple email/messaging campaigns to target and nurture leads. (Pardot, Mailchimp, etc.)
· Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to foster community engagement.
· Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to maximize impact.
· Post blogs and update website pages as needed.
· Provide regular updates to management on the effectiveness of campaigns and make strategic recommendations.
· Coordinate with external vendors, graphic designers, and printers as needed.
· Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
· Assist with graphic design and presentations decks as needed
· Perform other duties as assigned.
RELATED DUTIES:
· Support with one-off campaigns and PR projects as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
· A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· At least 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, with a focus on digital marketing and content creation.
· Experience with social media management, including platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and others.
· Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) and CRM systems.
- Proven work experience in web development, digital marketing and SEO/SEM techniques.
· Knowledge of graphic design programs (Adobe, Figma, Canva)
· Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and social media performance analytics tools.
· Experience with website management and content management systems (e.g., Webflow) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
· Prior experience in a healthcare marketing environment or with knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is a plus.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
· In depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices, especially LinkedIn.
· Familiarity with email marketing tools and CRM systems.
· Experience with Google Analytics and social media performance analytics.
· Basic understanding of wound care industry regulations for marketing and advertising.
· Effectively communicate through written and visual content.
· Work collaboratively across teams and departments
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
· Research and stay informed on market trends and competitor activities.
· Graphic design skills (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva) a plus.
· Knowledge of HTML and web management tools is an advantage.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be able to sit for extended periods.
· Occasional lifting of materials or supplies up to 25 pounds.
· Manual dexterity for typing and use of office equipment.
Working Conditions
Office environment with a collaborative and dynamic team atmosphere.
Occasional travel to conferences, events, or vendor locations may be required. 10% Travel required.
