Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Assistant Manager – E-Commerce Specialist to support and optimize daily e-commerce operations. This role combines hands-on execution with supervisory responsibility, ensuring seamless order management, customer experience, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will take ownership of operational workflows, drive process improvements, and support team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily e-commerce operations including order processing, returns, and fulfillment workflows
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SLAs, and service standards
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance operational performance
Customer Experience Management
- Supervise customer service activities across phone and email channels
- Resolve escalated customer issues related to orders, returns, and product inquiries
- Maintain and improve customer satisfaction metrics
Order & Logistics Oversight
- Monitor order lifecycle from placement to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate with distribution centers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline logistics
- Oversee returns, refunds, and RMA processes to ensure daily completion and compliance
Team Support & Coordination
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members or customer service staff
- Assist in training new hires on systems, processes, and product knowledge
- Act as a point of contact between management and operations teams
Systems & Reporting
- Ensure accurate posting of tracking information, purchase orders, and inventory updates
- Utilize e-commerce and CRM systems to monitor performance and generate reports
- Support data-driven decision-making through operational insights
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
