This role will own online merchandising, category performance, sales forecasting, SKU onboarding, reporting, and cross-functional coordination across Marketing, Operations, and Finance. The ideal candidate will help transform the webstore into a disciplined, scalable revenue channel by improving assortment strategy, launch execution, digital performance, and business intelligence.

This role is critical to the next phase of growth and requires a leader who can combine data, execution, and commercial instinct to drive measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

eCommerce Management and Revenue Growth

  • Own the day-to-day management of the company webstore and overall online commercial performance.
  • Drive revenue growth, average order value, conversion, and category expansion through disciplined eCommerce management.
  • Monitor website sales performance and identify risks, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership on short- and long-term eCommerce growth strategy.

  • Recommend new products, bundles, kits, add-ons, and accessories to improve sales performance and customer experience.
  • Optimize category structure, filters, collections, and product discovery across the site.

Sales Forecasting and Inventory Planning

  • Build and maintain sales forecasts by SKU, category, campaign, and seasonal period.
  • Partner with Operations and supply chain teams to align purchasing, replenishment, and inventory readiness with projected demand.
  • Identify stock risks, slow-moving inventory, missed sales opportunities, and launch timing issues.
  • Support demand planning with data-backed recommendations.

New SKU Onboarding and Product Launch Execution

  • Lead onboarding of new SKUs into the webstore in partnership with Operations, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Ensure all product setup is complete and accurate, including product titles, descriptions, images, attributes, pricing, categorization, SEO fields, and launch readiness.
  • Create and maintain launch workflows to improve speed, accuracy, and cross-functional accountability.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure new products are commercially ready before launch.

  • Collaborate on promotional calendars, campaign planning, and product focus based on inventory and revenue priorities.

Reporting, Analytics, and Executive Visibility

  • Track and report key business metrics including revenue, units sold, conversion rate, average order value, traffic trends, category mix, product performance, refunds, promotions, and forecast accuracy.
  • Deliver clear, actionable reporting to leadership, not just raw data.
  • Develop dashboards and executive summaries that support business decision-making across departments.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary bridge between eCommerce, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  • Align product launches, promotions, pricing, forecasting, and reporting across departments.
  • Help establish process discipline and accountability as the business scales.
  • Recommend operational and system improvements that support long-term growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, Merchandising, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in eCommerce, merchandising, category management, or digital commerce.
  • Proven experience managing online product assortments, category performance, and SKU-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory planning, and product launch coordination.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability.
  • Experience with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, SEO fundamentals, and digital merchandising best practices.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer products, sporting goods, outdoor, tactical, accessories, or related categories.
  • Experience scaling an eCommerce channel during periods of rapid growth.
