Production Worker Position Available at Gemstone Memorials
Ventling Memorials, located in Austintown, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as production workers. Our local production company specializes in crafting high-quality headstones, memorials, and monuments for our community. We're looking for reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow with us. No prior experience is necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
- Demonstrate respect for monuments, cemeteries, and gravesites
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as rulers
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Physical fitness to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Skills:
Candidates with special skills in Welding, Carpentry, Masonry, Graphic Design, Forklift operation, etc., may receive a higher starting wage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute production orders accurately
- Prepare granite for stencil application and sandblasting
- Review stencils for correctness and report any discrepancies
- Perform sandblasting in the workshop and occasionally on-site at cemeteries
- Clean and inspect monuments to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of completed work
- Fulfill any other duties assigned by supervisors
