Our client, is a growing, manufacturing company, in the Grand Rapids area. They are seeking a Staff Accountant to add to their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES of Staff Accountant
- Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries and account reconciliations to support the month end close process.
- Staff Accountant will help prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Staff Accountant will help with internal control and procedure documentation.
- Staff Accountant will help on financial analysis projects as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE of Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- 3 years of experience in Accounting required
- High level of US GAAP knowledge
- Excellent communication, people, written and presentation skills
- Team player who can work well with other functional groups
