Quality Engineer

Minimum 3 years of Quality Engineering Experience


Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to fill an opening with a Tier 1 Manufacturing Company located near Grand Rapids, MI. Must have experience with automotive quality. Experience with metals and/or welding is a plus.


Requirements of the Quality Engineer

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Statistical background
  • Experience with metals or mechanisms
  • Experience with MIG, TIG or GMAW welding


Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

  • Manage advanced product quality planning process for new model launch.
  • Write and implement procedures for gage and inspection standards, engineering changes, product audits, standardized work and any other quality related functions.
  • Supervise quality technicians and CMM Technicians in all quality related functions.
  • Evaluate proposed changes in design , process and materials to current specifications.
  • Investigate problems and coordinate corrective action and follow up with customers and suppliers on countermeasures.
