Venteon Finance is currently engaged on an excellent Controller search with a stable manufacturing client in the western suburbs of Wayne County. This is an excellent opportunity to join a profitable and dynamic company outside of the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee cost development, variance analysis, and product margin reporting
- Provide financial analysis to support pricing, inventory management, and capital spending decisions.
- Monitor and report on key manufacturing metrics and their financial impact
- Support senior management in developing the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to inform decision-making
- Oversee financial systems (ERP and reporting tools) and ensure accurate integration between accounting and operations data
- Lead and develop Accounting team
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- CPA Designation highly preferred
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience
- Demonstrated team development and leadership experience
- Multi-Site Manufacturing industry / environment experience
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
