Controller

Venteon Finance is currently seeking a CONTROLLER for a stable manufacturing client in the Hartford, CT area.

REQUIREMENTS / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10 Years of manufacturing industry experience
• 3 years of Leadership / Managerial experience
• Strong understanding of Manufacturing including Standard Cost and Inventory
• ERP Systems experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads the full scope of accounting processes for Plant Location.
• Leading role in the financial close and reconciliation process, accountable for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure that local statutory reporting and tax authority requirements are met.
• Ensures that policies and procedures adhere to a system of internal controls, and serves as the lead for internal and external audit requirements.
• Serves as a primary point of contact with Corporate Accounting, addressing questions and reporting needs.
• Leads, develops, and coaches local accounting team.
• Key role in the financial planning cycle - providing various inputs and performing reviews in the areas of revenue, material, headcount, plant expenses, and working capital (following standard financial planning process flows).
