What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper/Receiver (3rd shift) position at Ventek Solutions, LLC?
The Shipper / Receiver I is responsible for safely operating a forklift while supporting shipping, receiving, warehouse organization, and production operations. This position supplies production with packaging materials, stages finished goods, loads and unloads trucks, and responds to production and customer priorities.
Third shift hours in Tullahoma are 11:25p – 7:40a. Please apply only if you are able to work this shift consistently each week.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks.
• Operate banding equipment for finished goods.
• Supply production lines with shipping and packaging materials.
• Stage finished goods and support customer expedites.
• Maintain warehouse organization and housekeeping.
• Complete daily forklift inspections.
• Support production with breaks and other operational requests.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Forklift experience preferred but training is available. Must be dependable, safety-focused, able to lift up to 50 lbs., and willing to work as part of a team
