We are a large mechanical contractor looking for an on-site Safety Manager for a construction project in Glendale, KY. The potential candidate will implement health and safety plans, enforce policies, and evaluate practices to ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct required safety training
- Enforce practices and procedures to establish a culture of health and safety
- Monitor compliance with policies and laws
- Creation of documentation such as DTAs, PTAs, and lift plans duct incident investigations and reports
Requirements
- 3-5 years safety professional
- Experience with construction of automotive plants preferred
- OSHA 510 minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Basic Knowledge), PowerPoint, Basic PDF editing.
- Good Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Able to manage 2-3 other safety field support staff
- HS Diploma
Salary contingent on skills and experience. Job Type: Full-time
