Outside Public Area Attendant

SUMMARY

The outside Public Area Attendant assists with daily cleanliness and presentation of exterior guest areas, including walkways, pool decks, entrances, and parking lots.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all public area restrooms as needed and maintain frequently throughout the shift.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming exterior walkways, patios, and pool decks.
• Tidying up outdoor lounge chairs, cleaning outdoor furniture, and ensuring poolside areas are tidy.
• Emptying exterior trash cans and replacing liners regularly.
• Removing hazards, such as spills or debris, to prevent accidents.
• Proceed and check the entire assigned area for any apparent problems that require immediate attention.
• Assist in cleanliness of common areas and exterior grounds.
• Provide daily cleaning for golf house, locker rooms, swimming pool, and golf course restroom facilities.
• Greeting guests pleasantly and answering questions regarding resort facilities.
• Window washing, furniture polishing, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, floor cleaning and polishing, cleaning light fixtures.
• Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

 Skills/ Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work independently on a variety of tasks with a medium level of complexity.
• Able to drive golf carts and load and unload bags and tools for housekeeping duties.
• Must be flexible to work holidays and weekends depending on operational needs.
• Must be able to speak and read basic English.

Education/Experience:

• Hospitality industry or other applicable cleaning experience preferred.
• Neat personal appearance.
• Precise, meticulous, and methodical.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Required to work indoors and outdoors in inclement weather as well as fair weather.
• Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift and/or move 10-25 pounds.
• Be able to stand/walk continuously up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to work around chemicals, dust, fumes and/or odor hazards. 
• Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors). 

$500.00 Sign on bonus.  The first half ($250.00) to be paid after completion of 90 days of employment and the second half ($250.00) to be paid after 180 days of employment.  All bonus pay is contingent upon a positive performance review.

Work times are 5:30 am to 1:30 pm
