Position Summary
The Unemployment Claims Assistant provides administrative support to the Unemployment Services team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and distribute inbound mail, email, cases, and inquiries.
- Facilitates outbound mail.
- Maintain client and claim data in Unemployment Tracking software.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, update various tracking systems.
- Ensures timely entry of sensitive information to meet procedural deadlines.
- Assist with birthday and anniversary recognition, maintenance of team calendar, team meeting/event coordination and preparation.
- May assist with special projects as assigned.

- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and proactively, both verbally and in writing.
- Capability to learn multiple HRIS (Human Resources Information System) platforms and vendor partner platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Drive to learn, grow, and contribute to the overall success of the company
- Ability to thrive in a modern, collaborative international environment, effectively using video conferencing, chat, email, and phone to maintain strong team communication.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) preferred.
- Prior work experience in an office environment is preferred but not required.
