As a Seasonal Food Quality Assurance Supervisor, you play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance in our wild-caught salmon operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, innovate, and grow within a fast-paced and dynamic seafood processing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Quality Control (QC) team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and SSOPs standards.
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and quality reports.
- Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train staff on food safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in food science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field (preferred).
- 35 years of experience in food quality assurance.
- 2 years in a supervisory role. - HACCP certification required.
- Strong knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis.
- Experience in seafood industry (especially salmon).
- Bilingual skills (Spanish or Tagalog).
- Experience in remote or seasonal operations.
