What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apparatus Vehicle Upfitter position at Vengeant Apparatus?
Vengeant Apparatus, a division of 911 Rapid Response, a leading manufacturer of Fire and Specialty Apparatus is drastically expanding creating the demand for new positions within our company.
We build some of the most advanced, innovative and functional pieces of equipment operated by front line heroes on the road today. Being part of building our team is very rewarding in many ways.
This position is 40 hours a week, Monday thru Friday. You will work with a team, there’s nothing production line about us. We are fully customized and every build is different giving, you the employee, a great sense of reward at completion. We do allow 10 hours shifts after training is completed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Custom installation of automotive products including warning equipment, lighting, power supplies/inverters, doors, hose reels, etc in fire apparatus.
- Properly interpret specs.
- Wire components to manufacturer recommendations and customer schematics.
- Ability to communicate with shop personnel, managers and work as a team
- Drilling/cutting to properly mount equipment/components in or on vehicles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high volume environment
- Establish proper workflow based on assigned tasks.
You must have DC electrical background and common tool experience. We can help with the rest. Tools are required.
SALARY IS BASED OFF OF EXPERIENCE
