Project Assistant – Venegas Designs

Venegas Designs is a Los Angeles-based custom furniture and millwork studio specializing in high-end, made-to-order pieces built in-house at our City of Industry workshop. We serve homeowners, business owners, and interior designers — including clients in the entertainment industry — who expect precision, quality, and clear communication at every stage.

We are a growing company looking for a Project Assistant who wants to grow with us. The right candidate is organized, resourceful, and genuinely excited to see a client's vision go from concept to finished piece. This role works directly alongside ownership, supporting project tracking, client communication, production, and day-to-day operations. Responsibilities

• Manage active client projects and serve as a point of contact for clients and interior designers throughout the process
• Track and organize all project information using Monday.com and Google Sheets
• Assist in preparing and updating production orders and project documentation
• Support ownership with scheduling, note-taking, and day-to-day operational tasks
• Coordinate shipping logistics for out-of-state clients
• Travel to client locations in the LA area for on-site measurements when needed

Experience & Qualifications

• Proficient in Google Workspace — Sheets, Docs, and Gmail (required)
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop — able to work from templates and make revisions (required)
• Comfortable with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication — you will be interacting with clients and designers
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail across multiple active projects
• Comfortable in client-facing situations, both on the phone and in person
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle — local travel required for on-site measurements
• 1–3 years in a coordination, operations, or administrative role preferred — experience in furniture, interior design, construction, or a similar field is a plus but not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
