In Summary….
- Ensure all gelato is prepared, displayed, and sold according to Venchi standards
- You must ensure that the maintenance of the gelato equipment is to the required Health and Safety standards.
- Work hand in hand with the Store Manager on ingredient ordering, stock control and rotation.
- Follow up on orders and stock, adjusting orders if required before the deadlines.
- Report any issues to the Store and Area Manager.
- Be aware of gelato sales within your shop.
- Test, clean, and order the required parts when needed.
- Ownership and compliance of the Health and Safety standards
- Ensure all deliveries are checked correctly, and all discrepancies are being notified and reported.
- Follow the gelato production setting standards and guidelines
- Conduct regular checks on team knowledge, understanding, and overall practices.
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- Willingness & desire to improve.
- Must be a quick learner, have a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to multitask.
- Organized, with close attention to detail.
- Friendly and Energetic.
- Willing to be a team player.
- Comfortable working in the ‘back of house’ / kitchen area.
