Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Ice Cream Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious ice cream and ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. The ideal candidate will have a love for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace.
Responsibilities
- scoop and combine different ice cream and cookie combinations to create various ice cream sandwiches for customers.
- Operate cookie ovens and other equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Working alone to Open and close the store according to scheduled hours and procedures
Must be available to work nights around 9pm to 1am
Must also clean up and be comfortable operating a small store in their own.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the production area, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.
- Assist in the packaging and labeling of finished products for sale.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers or assisting in the front of the house as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately.
- Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant, grocery store, or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices is essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Must be able to maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation guidelines diligently.
