Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating customer-driven maintenance projects for corporate aircraft at the repair station’s fixed location. This role requires direct experience supporting corporate/business aircraft and a strong understanding of the expectations associated with high-value aviation assets and discerning clientele.
Serving as the central point of contact, this individual partners closely with customers, maintenance teams, and leadership to ensure all work scopes are executed with precision, efficiency, and an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, and service. The role is accountable for delivering seamless, high-touch customer experience while ensuring full compliance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Repair Station procedures, and contractual requirements.
The Project Manager holds ownership of project execution within the VMS system, including initiating and managing work orders, overseeing planning and scheduling, and ensuring all maintenance activities are thoroughly documented, properly resourced, and delivered to the highest operational and regulatory standards.

The Project Manager may delegate duties to qualified personnel as appropriate. Delegation does not relieve the Program Manager of overall responsibility or accountability for assigned programs and compliance.

Regulatory & Qualification Requirements
- Must be qualified in accordance with 14 CFR Part 65
- Must be familiar with:
- Accepted methods, techniques, and practices used in aircraft maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations
- Required tools, equipment, and technical data applicable to assigned tasks
- Must hold appropriate FAA certification under 14 CFR Part 65
- Upon verification and documentation of qualifications, the individual will be listed on the Repair Station Roster
- Own the full lifecycle of assigned aircraft projects, ensuring seamless execution from initial scope through delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and client experience.
- Act as the primary liaison for high-value clients, delivering clear, proactive communication, managing expectations, and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience throughout the project.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and critical milestones.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Maintenance, Avionics, Interiors, Paint, Materials, and Quality Assurance to ensure alignment with project scope and delivery commitments.
- Drive daily project execution, closely monitoring progress against timelines, scope, and quality benchmarks.
- Facilitate routine project reviews with Crew Chiefs, Team Leads, and leadership to address risks, resolve issues, and maintain forward momentum.
- Partner with Materials and Procurement to ensure strategic sourcing and timely availability of parts, minimizing downtime and project delays.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all work is executed in full compliance with FAA regulations, approved data, and internal quality standards.
- Maintain precise and audit-ready project documentation, including work scopes, change orders, budget tracking, and work orders.
- Lead customer-facing meetings, presenting progress updates, managing scope changes, and reinforcing long-term client relationships.
- Oversee financial performance of projects, including cost tracking, change management, and coordination of accurate, transparent invoicing.
- Ensure smooth project closeout, including final delivery, documentation, billing, and post-project client follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of project management processes.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience within aviation, MRO, or aircraft maintenance environments
- Required: Direct experience working with corporate/business aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and FAA regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects with competing priorities
- Authorized to work in the United States and able to meet all pre-employment requirements, including background screening
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Experience supporting high-end corporate aircraft maintenance, refurbishment, or modification projects
- Familiarity with Corridor or similar aviation maintenance systems
