Position Summary

Velociti, LLC is seeking a Data & Analytics Architect to serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the company’s enterprise data architecture. This role supports advanced analytics, AI initiatives, and digital transformation by enabling scalable, secure, and intelligent data ecosystems that deliver real-time insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

As part of the Business Intelligence and Architecture organization, the Data & Analytics Architect partners closely with Enterprise Architects, AI Engineers, Application Development, Digital Experience, IT, and Business Operations teams. This role also plays a critical part in mergers and acquisitions by ensuring data continuity, integration, and governance across acquired systems and entities.

This position reports to the Senior Director of AI & Architecture.

Location

This role is based on-site at Velociti’s Riverside, MO office. While the position is not remote, occasional work-from-home flexibility may be available with prior coordination and supervisor approval.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Platform Enablement

  • Architect and implement enterprise-wide data platforms leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud (360), Snowflake, MuleSoft, Tableau, Nextworld, Microsoft 365, and related technologies
  • Design and maintain enterprise data models, integration frameworks, and data pipelines across cloud and hybrid environments
  • Lead data integration strategy for mergers and acquisitions, including onboarding and harmonization of data assets and systems
  • Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Application Development teams to ensure alignment with security, integration, and architectural standards
  • Support product development initiatives by delivering reusable, analytics-ready data solutions


Analytics Enablement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Digital Experience, Application Development, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to translate business needs into analytics and data capabilities
  • Work directly with business stakeholders to define end-to-end data flows, analytics requirements, and technical capabilities
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and liaison between executive leadership and delivery teams


Data Governance, Quality & Compliance

  • Establish and enforce enterprise data governance standards for data quality, security, compliance, and stewardship
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability across platforms, systems, and business domains
  • Develop and maintain architecture standards, design patterns, and supporting documentation


Innovation, Standards & Documentation

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance analytics capabilities and scalability
  • Maintain awareness of platform updates and evolving data architecture methodologies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and enterprise data models


Mentorship & Knowledge Leadership

  • Mentor Enterprise Architects, AI Engineers, and development teams to promote best practices and architectural consistency
  • Promote data literacy and knowledge sharing across technical and business teams


Key Performance Metrics

The Data & Analytics Architect will be evaluated on their ability to:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data architectures
  • Enable reliable analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives
  • Maintain strong data governance, quality, and compliance standards
  • Support successful system integrations, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Influence architectural adoption and consistency through leadership and mentorship


Required

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data solutions using platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud (360), Snowflake, MuleSoft, Tableau, Nextworld, Microsoft 365, or similar technologies
  • Proven experience with data integration, data platform architecture, and analytics enablement in complex cloud and hybrid environments
  • Strong understanding of data management, master data concepts, and governance frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, high-performance data solutions
  • Experience supporting or leading data integration initiatives during mergers and acquisitions
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage executive and technical audiences
  • Experience producing detailed technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and requirements specifications


Preferred

  • Salesforce Data Architect and/or Data Cloud (360) Specialist certification
  • Snowflake certification
  • MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or Developer certification
  • Tableau certification or comparable analytics credential
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Primarily office-based role using computers and communication tools throughout the day
  • Requires extended periods of sitting and frequent computer use
  • Standard business hours Monday through Friday; occasional extended hours may be required
  • Minimal physical exertion required
