ELIGIBILITY:
We are currently hiring piano teachers who meet the following qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in music. Candidates without a music degree won't be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience - private lessons to young children through adults
- Strong communication skills, warm and non-conflicting personality.
- Authorized to work long term in the USA, with supporting documentation.
- Reside in SF Bay Area
- Commit to this job for at least 2 years
We are seeking piano teachers who are passionate about music, are well-educated, and have the ability to work with young children very effectively.
COMPENSATION: Dependent on education & teaching experience as well as the candidate's ability to retain students
WORKING HOURS:
Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm, Sat 9am-4pm.
BENEFITS: Sick pay, 401K Retirement Investment Matching Program, yearly 5-10% rasie based on performance. bonuses for student prepartion for tests and recitals, flexibale schedule with 7 weeks of school breaks (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Spring Break, Summer Break).
PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY: every teacher has the opportunity to perform at our bi-annual recitals at Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara University, Annual Staff Recital and Carnegie Hall Honor Recital. Teachers are not required to perform, but have this opportunity.
SUPPORT: We provide support related to teaching, handling difficult situations, overcoming stress, preparing for tests/recitals, and overall helping with meaningful and happy teaching.
