Responsible for grinding PVC lineals that are outside VEKA’s specifications.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for grinding off standard PVC lineals
- Ensures all grinded lineals are clean and free of weather strip or other contamination.
- Properly operates grinder within operating parameters and safety requirements.
- Maintains excellent housekeeping in grinding area.
- Operates forklift to move full and empty racks in and out of grinding room.
- Wears all required PPE for grinder operation.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and with accuracy
- Drive to take initiative
- Good oral communication skills
- Good collaboration skills in a tactful and diplomatic manner
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Forklift Operator license required
