Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of our engineering organization. You'll partner closely with IT staff, engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within scope. You'll thrive in this role if you love bringing structure to complexity, are a natural communicator, and get genuine satisfaction from seeing a team succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end project lifecycle — from scoping and planning through execution, delivery, and retrospective
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocations
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Identify, track, and proactively mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers
- Serve as the central communication hub between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and priorities
- Maintain clear and consistent project status reporting for leadership and stakeholders
- Drive continuous process improvement across teams, identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions
- Support capacity planning and help leadership make informed resourcing decisions
- Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and accessible
Qualifications
- 3 years of project management experience in a software development or technology environment
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and vice versa
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira)
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification is a plus, but not required
