We are seeking a Maintenance Associate to join our vibrant team and help us spread the joy of gardening! This position maintains and repairs facilities, equipment, and grounds across the Tomball office, Farmhouse, and Greens locations through skilled handyman, electrical, and plumbing work while supporting special projects and company events as needed.
- Perform handyman, electrical, and plumbing work at the Tomball office, Farmhouse, and Greens location.
- Perform general repairs and housekeeping projects at the Tomball office, Farmhouse, and Greens location.
- Repair and maintain miscellaneous company-supplied equipment, materials, and tools.
- Reconfigure, install, position, and build office and garden equipment.
- Assist with special projects as directed.
- Assist with company-sponsored events as directed.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as responding to spills and disposing of trash, ensuring all areas are tidy and functional.
- Provide backup support for landscaping tasks at the Farmhouse as needed.
- Maintain inventory of power tools, maintenance supplies, and equipment at the Tomball office and Farmhouse,
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the management.
- Handyman experience required.
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Experience with basic electrical and plumbing repairs preferred.
- Experience using hand and electric tools.
- Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Accept and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned with a positive attitude.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a reliable vehicle to travel between multiple locations.
This position requires physical dexterity with the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time, with occasional squatting, stooping, and turning at the waist in both an outdoor and warehouse environment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. unassisted. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our three locations listed below. This position will work at all locations on various days of the week.
- Tomball Office location: 13808 Boudreaux Road, Bldg. #2, Tomball, TX.
- Farmhouse location: 22503 Lain Road, Spring, TX.
- Greens location: 1521 Greens Rd, Houston, TX.
- Monday through Friday.
- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Lunch break from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
- The rate starts at $17 per hour.
- Flexible Paid Time Off.
- 12 PTO days per year, accrued bi-weekly, with incremental increases annually.
