Technical Program Manager - Scrum Master
Overview / Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager / Scrum Master to lead and oversee the execution of technology-focused projects and programs. This role involves driving Agile practices, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and ensuring the successful delivery of software solutions, particularly within backend or e-commerce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Scrum Master, facilitating all Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Lead Agile practices and coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles
- Drive continuous improvement to optimize workflows and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software
- Support Program Increment (PI) planning and ensure visibility across feature development and release cycles
- Collaborate with technical leads, architects, and stakeholders to maintain a refined and prioritized product backlog
- Identify, track, and resolve risks and impediments impacting team progress
- Utilize tools for backlog management, sprint tracking, and release execution
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical execution and business objectives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Scrum Master, Technical Program Management, Release Management, or similar roles within a software development environment
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Proficiency in Jira for managing backlogs, sprints, issues, and releases
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of backend systems, APIs, integrations, and data flows
