Vega Consulting is Staffing a Web Master position for our direct client located in Reston, VA. Seeking a W2 candidate that lives within a commutable distance to Reston, VA. The candidate will be required to Travel To Reston, VA once a quarter. Candidate will be required to attend an onsite interview in Reston, VA.
The Webmaster will manage our clients Intranet presence by ensuring the websites is functional, user-friendly, visually pleasing, and up-to-date following best practices in UI & UX. Work is achieved through both autonomous project work and collaboration.
Job Description::
- Determine and maintain company website needs and requirements
- Proficiency with web content management systems (TeamSite, SharePoint, etc.)., Expert
- Collaborate with Content and Media Manager on conceptual design, graphic design Ect.
- Coordinate with designers, content providers, and management or business owners
- Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics and or LifeRay
- Proficiency with web usability methodology and standards., Expert
- Expertise with web development software and coding (i.e. Dreamweaver, Adobe Professional, HTML, CSS, etc.), Advanced
- Experience with managing digital media, including web-based video, audio files., Advanced
Job requirement:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study, or five (5) years Webmaster experience
- Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects while keeping content owners informed of the progress of their general web edits and aware of any potential problems., Expert
- Ability to think globally and understand how content edits on one area of any particular web property may impact other areas of and/or related websites., Expert
- Ability to communicate challenges in a non-technical manner to internal content/business owners is important., Expert
