Job Description:
- To assist the Cardiologists in performing invasive and diagnostic/interventional cardiac/vascular and electrophysiologic procedures as well as technical hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation using automated techniques.
- Providing care to meet patient needs and handle occupational therapy duties as required and assigned.
- The Registered Radiologic Technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for patients for a designated time frame and provides care, specifically in the Heart & Vascular Institute.
- The patient population consists of those requiring an invasive cardiology or invasive radiology study.
- The Registered Radiologic Technologist will assist the physician in all procedures and provide a valuable service to the patient and the team.
Required Education:
- Associate's Degree in Related Field OR Certificate of completion for Radiology Program
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- EMA (Illinois state) License in Radiology Technology
- BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
- ARRT Registration in Radiology
