Test Automation Engineer (UFT)

Job Role: UFT Tester with Excel Add-in experience

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Location: NYC - Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Automate UI workflows for an Excel-based add-in using UFT VBScript.
• Build and maintain a robust automation framework.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects.
• Work with CI/CD (Bamboo/GitHub) for integration of automated tests.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, and summary reports.
• Perform basic SQL/database validations.

Skillset & Experience Requirements:

• 7 to 9 years in UI test automation, preferably with Excel add-in experience.
• Proficient in UFT (Unified Functional Testing), preferably UFT 24.x Version experience.
• Strong expertise in VBScript
• Experience with Excel object model and Office automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Bamboo, Github) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Some exposure to Postman or similar tools
