In this role, you will oversee global AP and AR processes, guiding a talented accounting team while ensuring seamless operations across multiple international subsidiaries. You’ll also drive impactful projects such as system upgrades, compliance initiatives, and process enhancements that improve efficiency and strengthen the company’s financial structure.
This close-knit A&F team covers a range of responsibilities including overseeing the entire accounting process from transaction recording to financial planning and analysis, to budgeting and forecasting, and reporting on everything from start to finish.
During this role you will
- Lead and mentor the AP and AR accounting team, supporting professional development and performance.
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor relationships, billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Oversee international subsidiaries’ AP/AR operations, collaborating with cross-border teams.
- Execute system transformation projects, from new implementations to upgrades and user training.
- Ensure compliance with reporting, filings (1042, 1099), company policies, and audits.
- Coordinate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to AP & AR.
- Prepare regular reports on AP/AR metrics, aging, cash flow, and outstanding balances for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or improve financial workflows.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to AP and AR transactions.
Here is what success looks like
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Bring a solid foundation in AP/AR processes and demonstrate confidence in managing accounting operations across multiple countries.
- Successfully lead and motivate a team, helping individuals grow while ensuring high performance.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting that supports organizational decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Collaborate effectively across departments and cultures, building trusted relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- Proficient with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to interpret and implement accounting policies, resolve complex issues, and support process improvements.

Compensation:
Annual base salary of [85,000 – 95,000 USD]. Eligible for company performance bonuses.
Salary offer is determined by evaluation of candidate skills and experience during the interview process based on the criteria outlined in the job advertisement above.
