Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics based on your preference and expertise.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical documentation to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed.
- Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental wellness.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix software to streamline practice operations.
Experience
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with a strong understanding of general dentistry procedures.
- Hands-on experience with pediatric dentistry, including treating children and managing pediatric patients’ unique needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and prosthodontics procedures.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization procedures aligned with industry standards.
- Previous experience using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
