Job role: Site Safety Officer
Duration: Contract through most of 2027 (Potential Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Vineland, NJ (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Day Shift
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of field safety experience
- Strong construction safety background
- Previous Data Center construction experience is REQUIRED
- Experience supporting infrastructure, telecommunications, electrical, or mission-critical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 & 1910
- Familiarity with ANSI, NFPA 70E, and ASTM safety standards
- Experience conducting:
- Site safety orientations
- Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
- Pre-Task Plans (PTPs)
- Safety audits and inspections
- Incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Toolbox talks and safety training
- Experience enforcing PPE, fall protection, lockout/tagout, confined space, and other critical safety procedures
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Certifications:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction (required or willing to obtain before hire)
- OSHA 500, OSHA 510, or STSC (required or willing to obtain before hire)
- Current First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
- CHST or other BCSP certification is a plus
