The Senior Director Revenue Cycle Operations provides strategic and operation leadership for assigned patient care regions. This role serves as a key partner to Regional Directors of Patient Access and the Associate Vice President ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy, operational execution, and patient-centered access to care.
Essential Job Duties
Lead executive of patient access strategic priorities and enterprise initiatives
Provide operational oversight for assigned patient care regions
Serve as a strategic advisor to Regional Directors of Patient Access
Champion patient-centered access and equity across regions
Ensure standardization and consistency of access workflows and performance
Monitor and improve access KPIs including scheduling timeliness, registration accuracy, and financial clearance
Identify operational risks and implement corrective action plans
Partner with clinical, revenue cycle, digital, and IT leaders
Support workforce development, engagement, and successional planning
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the AVP
Reduce operational escalations to executive leadership
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
Strategic partnership with with Ambulatory, MCVP, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities and operational excellence
Employment Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Healthcare Administration; Business Administration Finance, Accounting or closely related field.
Preferred Education
Master’s Degree Healthcare Administration; Business Administration Finance, Accounting or closely related field.
Licensure/Certification Preferred
Certified Healthcare Access Manager preferred
Years And Type Of Required Experience
Required: 10 years related experience including 5 years of supervisory /management work experience
