We are seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at VCU Health in Richmond, VA. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and Patient Care, with a focus on delivering excellent patient experiences
- Comprehensive understanding of Medical Terminology and management of Medical Records
- Knowledge of Medical Office procedures and operations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to effectively handle various clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification and knowledge of safety and hygiene practices in a medical environment are a plus
- Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is preferred
