Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Hollywood, FL, for a Junior Estimator. The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing blueprints, and evaluating project requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with senior estimators, reviewing project documents, researching material costs, and assisting in bid preparation. The role combines attention to detail with communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Experience with blueprint analysis, project cost estimation, and bid preparation
- Proficiency with relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Excel, estimating software, and project management platforms
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors
- Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and work in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Prior experience or internship in construction, project estimation, or relevant fields is preferred but not required
