Mechanical Drafter

This role focuses on providing engineering support for mechanical equipment in a collaborative team environment. The Drafter will be involved in creating design documentation, conducting tolerance studies, and developing test plans and fixtures. You will work closely with engineers on design projects, conceptualizing solutions that meet company standards and HSE procedures. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support on mechanical equipment by performing tolerance studies and checking design documentation.
• Research and specify purchased component parts to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
• Create component and system level test plans and test fixtures to validate design solutions.
• Complete basic drawing tasks and assist in calculations to support engineers on design projects.
• Conceptualize mechanical design solutions that comply with all company and HSE procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of mechanical engineering experience in a relevant environment.
• E.I.T. Engineer APEGA Certified, demonstrating commitment to professional development.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D engineering software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
