We are seeking a contract IT support professional who may transition to a permanent role, responsible for all IT issues at an assigned site. This role entails delivering second-level desktop support, managing PC inventory, and assisting in critical IT initiatives while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary IT support contact on-site, addressing and resolving any technical issues that arise promptly.
Manage PC inventory effectively, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and in proper working condition to support operational needs.
Assist actively in various IT initiatives, contributing to the advancement of technical solutions and systems.
Provide second-level desktop support with a focus on excellent customer service, ensuring that all end-user technical needs are met efficiently.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably within the Oil and Gas sector, addressing both hardware and software challenges.
Technical expertise in managing server environments, particularly with Server 2019, alongside proficiency in Cisco networking gear.
Hands-on experience with troubleshooting PC, LAN, WAN, and VPN solutions in dynamic work environments.
Possession of a valid TWIC Card, along with an excellent driving record and a reliable vehicle for on-site travel.
