RN Cath Lab – Travel Contract
Location: Lynwood, CA 90262
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-Hour Shifts)
Schedule: 4 Days per Week
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks with Possibility of Extension
Pay Rate: $83.00 – $92.00 per Hour (Negotiable) or $3,650 - $3,850 per week
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the State of California (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure procedural environment.
On-Call Requirements
On-call coverage is required and is a mandatory component of this assignment.
- 10 on-call days per month.
- At least 4 of the required on-call days must fall on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday coverage).
- Candidates must be fully aware of and willing to meet all on-call obligations before applying.
Pay: $3,650.00 - $3,850.00 per week
