Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple structural engineering projects from concept through completion
- Own project outcomes—schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction
- Direct and mentor engineers and support staff, building strong, high-performing teams
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to deliver efficient, buildable solutions
- Drive design and analysis with a strong emphasis on wood structures for residential and commercial projects
- Actively contribute to the development of next-generation engineering workflows, automation, and internal tools
- Help build and refine scalable design systems that improve how engineering is executed across projects
- Identify opportunities to challenge conventional processes and implement better, technology-driven solutions
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) required
- Strong background in wood design for residential and commercial structures
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of developing teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead both technically and operationally
- Self-starter mindset with a high level of accountability and ownership
- Genuine interest in innovation, technology, and redefining the engineering process
