Role Overview
This role blends the depth of a Principal Technical Architect with the accountability of an Engagement Manager. You will lead digital modernization initiatives across cloud, applications, integrations, and emerging technologies—guiding clients from legacy systems to modern, scalable, and secure architectures. You will also own end-to-end engagement success including delivery, solutioning, staffing, financials, and long-term client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Digital Strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, aligning digital initiatives with business goals
- Lead discovery sessions and define transformation roadmaps across cloud, applications, and platforms
- Own executive relationships and drive account growth and client satisfaction
Principal Technical Architecture & Solution Leadership
- Define enterprise architecture across cloud-native platforms, integrations, APIs, and ecosystems
- Govern solution design standards for scalability, security, and performance
- Provide hands-on leadership for complex digital transformation programs
Revenue Growth & Business Development
- Own revenue targets for assigned accounts
- Lead pre-sales efforts including proposals, estimations, and executive presentations
- Identify and convert opportunities across digital engineering and cloud transformation
- Partner with sales teams to build and sustain a strong pipeline
Engagement Management & Delivery Oversight
- Own end-to-end delivery including governance, financials, resourcing, and risk management
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget, and quality benchmarks
- Establish engagement models and executive reporting cadence
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (architects, engineers, delivery leaders)
- Drive staffing strategy and team performance
- Build reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Ensure solutions meet enterprise security and regulatory standards
- Guide clients on secure architecture and compliance in regulated environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Extensive experience in digital transformation, cloud adoption, and application modernization
- Proven track record in client engagement, delivery leadership, and revenue ownership
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud-native design, and integration strategies
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or other regulated industries preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to lead large, complex, cross-functional programs
