Corporate Attorney – Business Transactions

A well-established law firm in Hartford is seeking a Corporate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to join its growing business law practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of business and commercial transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and related legal documents.
- Support corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, business restructurings, and financing matters.
- Provide practical legal guidance to businesses on corporate governance and operational issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering high-quality legal service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience handling corporate and commercial transactional matters.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, lending/finance transactions, or similar business law matters.
- Experience working with investment funds or private capital structures is advantageous but not required.
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-focused environment.
Education & Licensing
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the Connecticut Bar, or eligibility and willingness to obtain admission promptly.
