Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packer to join our manufacturing and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards and packaging specifications. Duties
- Carefully pack products using appropriate packaging materials, ensuring protection during transit and storage
- Operate mechanical equipment to seal packaging as needed
- Follow detailed instructions to meet FDA regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards for product handling and packaging
- Utilize forklifts and/ or warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials or finished goods within the facility
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of packing stations to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with inventory management by labeling, documenting, and tracking packaged products accurately
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or manufacturing background preferred, with familiarity in packaging operations
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools is advantageous
- Basic understanding of FDA regulations and GMP guidelines related to food manufacturing environments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic production environment
