We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented interim Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead and manage quality assurance processes within our manufacturing operations. The QA Manager will oversee all quality systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance product quality. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with in-depth knowledge of construction, the modular manufacturing process, quality control principles, and residential code requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in alignment with 3rd party approval, ISO, or other relevant standards and certifications.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train QA team members to build a high-performing team focused on quality excellence.
- Process Oversight: Monitor and assess production processes to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Inspections and Audits: Plan and conduct internal quality audits, oversee external audits, and address findings with corrective and preventive actions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of quality procedures, testing records, inspection reports, and other relevant quality data.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues, implement root cause analysis methodologies, and drive corrective and preventive actions to resolution.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality standards.
- Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring materials and components meet required quality standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed on changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that manufacturing operations remain compliant.
- Customer Focus: Address and resolve customer complaints and non-conformance issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the “high quality” finish in a construction environment, with ability to ensure specifications and design intent are achieved
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in process improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to train manufacturing team, as needed, to improve quality
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QA leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.

Additional Information
This role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility and may require occasional travel to suppliers or other company sites. The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling various manufacturing challenges.
The Salary Range for this position is $130,000 - $152,000 annual base salary annual performance bonus. We also off the following benefits:
