Key Responsibilities
- Lead activities. Direct group and one-on-one recreational events daily.
- Encourage participation. Inspire residents to join games, music, arts, and crafts.
- Document progress. Maintain accurate daily attendance logs and progress notes.
- Set up events. Transport residents safely to and from activity areas.
- Maintain safety. Keep the activity spaces clean, organized, and secure.
- Provide desk support. Assist with occasional receptionist and phone duties as needed.
- Education. High school diploma or equivalent certification.
- Experience. Experience in senior care, skilled nursing, or memory care preferred.
- Traits. Excellent communication, patient demeanor, and a positive attitude.
- Physical ability. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stay active on your feet.
- Availability. Ability to work flexible schedules, including some weekends or holidays.
