Vascular Access Technician - CNA/RMA ($1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS)

Candidates with a Certified Medical Assistant or EMT certification are also encouraged to apply.As a Vascular Access Technician, you will support our in-house vascular access team at a large medical center. You will be an independent member of an organized, professional team.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with set-up of equipment and supplies necessary for indicated procedure based on directions provided by Vascular Access Clinician.Assists with positioning patient in bed for procedure and providing comfort during procedure.Closely watch procedural clinician to ensure all steps of procedure are completed.Maintains equipment and supplies in a safe and conscientious manner.Assists with breakdown of sterile field.Understands OSHA Exposure protocol and handles bodily fluids (i.e. blood) appropriately.Travel to facilities throughout designated service areas as assigned by the Administrator on Call.Additional work within scope of license as needed.Requirements:Active NC CNA I or II, Certified Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or EMT license; or a Surgical Technician certificate, in good standing.Maintain HIPAA/HITECH compliance with all activities.Completion of drug screen and background check.Adherence to Company policies and procedures.Lift and move 50lbs repetitively.Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, may include driving distances of over 60 miles to client satellite facility.Complete all required modules, credentialing paperwork, and skills assessment.Benefits: Vascular Wellness offers company-sponsored medical insurance and company-paid dental, vision, life, short-term & long-term disability insurance; retirement plan matching; an Employee Assistance Plan; paid time off; paid holidays; and mileage reimbursement.Schedule: Typically four (4) 10-hour shifts per week. Occasionally shift hours will be extended or adjusted due to patient, client, or company needs.Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.Sign-On-Bonus: $1,500 sign on bonus contingent on remaining employed for 12 months. 50% payment on first paycheck and 50% payment after 9 months.
