What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation and Controls Technicians position at Varstaff?
Varstaff is currently searching for the following:
Instrumentation and Controls Technicians: An instrumentation and control technician (I&C) is able to use standard hand and power tools to inspect and remove damaged wiring. They are able to organize and assist with cabling pulling, wire stripping, wire labeling, terminating wires using standard crimp connectors. They are able to perform electrical checkouts on low voltage (<50V) wiring to ensure continuity and voltage injections checks to verify proper readings. They are familiar with compression style WAGO blocks and 38999 connectors as well as CAT 6 and RG 45 connectors. IPC-A-610 and NEC (NFPA 70) familiarity is required, with IPC 610 J standard certification beneficial, but not required.
