Varstaff is searching for Software Engineers for a contract position in Los Angeles, CA. 

 W2 EMPLOYEE  (US Citizen) ONLY!

Responsibilities:

Support development, provisioning, and checkout of a Python/ROS2-based system using COTS hardware.

Scope includes device driver development and updates, provisioning process improvements using automation/scripts, and software checkout/troubleshooting on testbeds and electronics hardware.

Required: Python software development; Linux experience; strong troubleshooting/debugging skills; scripting and automation tools; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: ROS2; driver development; Ansible and Bash; hardware/software integration; EtherCAT and/or motor drivers.

In person is preferred but remote is acceptable.
