- Advanced Test Mastery: Deep knowledge of COMLEX-USA examination content covering osteopathic principles, biomedical sciences, clinical sciences, and osteopathic patient care across Level 1, Level 2-CE, and Level 2-PE formats. Ability to explain osteopathic manipulative treatment, systems-based pathophysiology, pharmacology, and clinical decision-making while preparing osteopathic medical students for board certification and residency placement.
- Strategic Test-Taking & Problem-Solving: Skilled at teaching clinical vignette analysis, osteopathic principle application, and systematic answer elimination for COMLEX. Guides students through interpreting patient presentations, applying pathophysiology to diagnosis, selecting appropriate pharmacological treatments, and integrating osteopathic manipulative medicine into patient management. Emphasizes distinguishing COMLEX from USMLE question styles and targeting osteopathic-specific content areas.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with COMLEX examination levels and common challenges such as integrating osteopathic principles into clinical scenarios, managing the breadth of biomedical science content, and adapting study strategies across examination levels. Adapts instruction using COMLEX-specific question banks, OMM review materials, and clinical case analysis to support osteopathic medical students at each stage of board preparation.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
