LOCATION: Onsite with traditional full time hours in Edwardsville, KS

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

Varsity Spirit is looking for a Seasonal Order Entry Clerk to join our team in the Edwardsville, KS location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers customer calls to assist customers and solve customer problems.
• Keeps track of received orders and source documents.
• Prepares and sorts source documents, and identifies and interprets data to be entered.
• Contacts preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data.
• Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into the computer following the format displayed on the screen, and enters necessary codes.
• Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors and verify the accuracy of data entered.
• Keeps record of work completed.
• Files or routes source documents after entry.
• Responds to inquiries regarding entered data.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient with Windows programs including Word and Excel.
• Proofreading skills
• Organized and detail oriented.
