Mechanical Engineering Technician

Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician
Location: Miami, FL 33196
Duration: 0-15 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion)
Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: $28.00-$30.00/Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, modify, move, troubleshoot, repair, and dismantle machinery and equipment using SOPs, layout plans, blueprints, or drawings.
• Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components, and electrical/electronic systems into sub-assemblies, assemblies, or complete units using hand/power tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Follow engineering drawings, work orders, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and verbal/written specifications.
• Perform set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and controls to ensure production/process compliance.
• Complete PMs in AMMS system to maintain compliance for multiple equipment sets.

Requirements:

• 5 years hands-on mechanical experience or AA Degree (Technical/Engineering) with 1 years relevant experience.
• Comfortable working in Blood exposure/Biohazard areas and following PPE/OSHA guidelines.
• Strong hands-on mechanical skills; more mechanical than engineering-focused.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
